Many thanks for your replies kujiratyan - i've had a look at the websites you've suggested and i'll keep looking out for bands that i like. I'm struggling to find any other bands that might be playing due to the website being in Japanese but i'm attempting to learn Japanese at the moment (i only know about 500 kanji and hiragana/katakana, but hopefully i'll be able to translate it a bit better soon!).
The little house diagram is cool as well! Are you Japanese or have you moved to live in Japan from somewhere else? I am from the UK. To Polar: Not one, but two volcanoes erupted on your trip?! That is very unlucky. When did you travel to Japan? |

Hi everyone,
Thank you for the replies - are there any more places you particualrly love to visit in Japan that you would recommend from personal experience? This can be for any reason: nice temples, scenery, nightlife, anime, jpop, food, shopping, crazyness, anything really! I'd really love to hear some more opinions on this - a big thank you to all who have replied so far. Also with regards to time-scale, i will have 30 full days in Japan. MidnightSun |

Meiji Jingu if you get to the shrine around 8:00am or so you'll see the Shinto priests address the ancestors, that's pretty magical or felt so to me on my second day.
Shibuya for the bus terminal ... The scramble This building has a giant LCD screen on it's front and also for the architecture Prada store is a MUST see ! Cat Walk street is cool too |
