Hi, we are traveling from Japan to Korea for a week. We have searched around and decided to take the ferry. We have seen a few different options, but are not sure which ones are legitimate. We are on a tight budget, but our timeline is open. We plan to go to Busan and then to Seoul, and then back to Japan.
We have seen ticket packages that included 5-day Korean train passes with a ferry ticket for $200 USD. We have also seen the beetle ferry for $250 round trip. We have also seen Tokyo to Seoul packages that again included train and ferry transportation.
Can anyone give us an opinion on what might be the best and cheapest route? We will be staying in Tokyo before we leave for Seoul. We would be interested in a package that included everything, but if the cost is prohibitive, we would just buy all the tickets separately. Thank you.
