I wonder, if you're willing to go all-out on an anime cosplay, and you're afraid of messing up your hair if you cut it yourself, would you bring a picture of the anime character to the salon and ask for it to be styled like that? xD

My friend cosplayed as Sasuke a few years back, and she was afraid of bringing in a picture of him to show the salon hairstylist because she thought it would've been embarrassing. xD Imagine bringing in a picture of your favorite Jrocker and asking them to cut your hair and dye it like theirs. o_O;

Yeah, I don't like the fact that salons charge so much for a haircut - especially since I only have my mom trim off like one or two inches of my hair. Do I cut my own hair? Never. I don't trust myself with scissors.

Almost what I do, my grandmother cuts my hair almost the way I want it.

I just trim regularly, although no-one in real life knows (and they'll never know). Certainly beats shelling out $35 on an average cut with a comment on your equine features on the side <_<
