oshare-kei fashion
 

hey everybody, im pretty new here, but i have one verr urgent question ;
theres alot of good japanese clothing brands out there, but i cant seem to find so many "oshare-kei(ish)" clothing brands :/ anyone know of some good ones? :)
really looking forward for answers^^

if you want to wear oshare kei fashion, you've got to wear sexpotrevenge. sexpotrevenge is a new harajuku punk brand, and the stuff is so great. some of the stuff are also designed by oshare bands, like an cafe<3 and i think 12012, along with some others. it's actually on the cheaper side of japanese fashion, but prices have gone up due to the popularity. if you live outside of tokyo you're gonna have to buy from cdjapan.co.jp but warning they're slow at restocking and shipping and handling is a biznatch. x_O

oh & btw on cdjapan there's also oshare brand algonquins, but it's slightly more expensive. there's also deorart, although i'm not sure if it's oshare. but i like it even though the only fashion i like is oshare. :P there's gothic lolita moi meme moitie too.

umm I would say that sex pot revenge is visual kei not oshare kei !

Wow, this stuff looks a little dark to me. I mean, it's oshare kei, but I think of An Cafe when I hear oshare kei and almost everything on those sites is dark. Where are all the cute An Cafe clothes?

Um, I would personally avoid LoKisa. Just putting that out there.

I don't know of any specifically Oshare brands (besides Putumayo, which was already been mentioned). However, AsiaJam.com has some stuff that could work. Also, check your local thrift and consignment shops. They can be goldmines for clothes.

For oshare brands, instead of buying/looking for mainly SexPotRevenge, I'd recomment brands like Listen Flavor or Super Lovers - they carry more colorful things. SexPot is more suitable for visual kei, in my opinion, since their stuff is darker and mostly black xD (They do have some "trippy colored" prints though, especially on their t-shirts/cutsews, which of course can be used in oshare kei)

Other brands I'd look at are Algonquins, 6% DOKI DOKI, HELLCATPUNKS, etc.

Of course offbrands can be considered, it's all about the overall looks and not the brand name - I'm giving these brands so you can see what kinds of designs are commonly used in the style!
