how safe is crossplaying at ACEN?
 

I was just wondering,

how safe is crossplaying at ACEN 2008?

this will be my first attempt crossplaying as Sailor Moon alone.

also I am not planning to stay at a friend's house nor staying in a hotel.
I do not live that far from ACEN.

which is best, should I put my costume on & go to the con or wear regular clothes & put on the costume say either in the car parking lot early before the doors open or in the boys washroom/hotel bathroom?

I did get good responses/positive feedback when I crossplayed as Minnie Mouse over the Halloween weekend when I used to work at the movie theatre.
Yes I did shave my legs and arms and face that time.

also what does anybody think, should I also be using makeup when I crossplay at ACEN?
if so, which brand(s) to get, what to apply first, how to apply them & how to remove them at the end?

by the way, I will not be sharing any makeup with anyone nor using any used or expired makeup - kishanai

It'll probably be ok. But that kinda depends on how you look in Crossplay. Some people can pull it off, some can't. I'm not insulting you just saying without a photo or something nobody can give you an accurate answer.

you should look as much like sailor moon as you can !
i would have to see what you look like all dressed up !
then i could tell you what to put with it !
