I'm one of those who live here, and I've got lots of pics. This one is from the big hanabi festival at Asakusa (location of the Sensoji temple in Tokyo). A million or so people showed up. Most people were dressed in Yukata (as I was).

In Omotesando hills, near Harajuku, and it wasn't even Sunday.

Not exactly "street" fashion, but if you spend enough time walking on Tokyo's streets, you'll come across scenes like this one.

I posted my pics as attachments, so i hope this works. I love japanese fashions, not so much the lolita stuff as much, but the long shirtdresses and leggings that are so in style there now. It is somewhat here too, but not as much. I especially love the pic i have of the adoring crowd of girls lined up, you can't see the band they are watching but it has some totally hot guys in it as you might have guessed.

Wow, these are awesome! I noticed a lot of Japanese women wear skirts and I read somewhere that they don't wear dress pants. Does anyone know why?
