kawaii
Yes, I have been studying a bit of Japanese language, and i am pretty sure that kawaii(cute) and harajuku are the same type of meaning. Here I have a good language site, I will check, and reply again in about 5 minutes. Hang on...:pinkbow:

Ok, i typed in "harajuku" in the site's search engine, and it said it was not a registered word? Perhaps it is a slang word for cute?:pinkbow:

Kawaii dose mean cute, ...So I really have no idea how you would put to and to together... but I suppose you are just learning. As for the main topic post. I don't really know if "kawaii style" is really a style of fashion. I think wherever you got that from is probably just talking in general the cute clothes and hair styles you usually seen worn. |
harajuku is a area in Tokyo.
kawaii does mean cute. I never heard of kawaii style in particular, but theres harajuku style and shibuya style, visual kei, etc etc. i was assume kawaii style would be alot of pink stuff and tons of accessories to make you look like a lil girl. should check out lolita style and such. |
