I wish there were contests like that remotely anywhere around here. Though I live in a small (majority) redneck town.. So anyone dressed as like Mickey mouse would have better chances. Though me and m,y buddies had discussed submitting pictures to the Adult Swim contest XD I wish we would have -_-

There's not that many cosplay contests here either. >.< Only a small one every few months at FYE in the mall.

In no way is Halloween for kids! So many adults dress up for Halloween. In fact, probably more adults than teenagers, since not many kids really dressed up during Halloween at my old high school...don't know if that applies to other high schools though.

I love Halloween because it's the one day of the year where you can wear whatever the hell you want without people acting like you just sprouted an extra head. I was actually thinking about wearing COOL!BVL MAN LONG COAT PUNK costume cosplay custom made - eBay (item 220274929454 end time Nov-27-08 05:15:42 PST) (even though that's just cosplay >.>) this year but I never got around to ordering it and ended up being too late, and out of cash at the time.
