Pimping up yyour gadgets
japanese style
Or as i say: glitter-raping. [pictures credit to google and soompi] I've noticed alot of japanese/korean/chinese/taiwanese girls spend hours sticking crystals and making designs from crystals on their phones, laptops and gadgets. It's very trendy. I don't actually know whether i'll have the patience to stick every little crystal on. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Or they pay to have someone do it.

There are places you can go to pay people to put them on for you, or you could buy some devices pre-decorated. My ex used to go to this lady who'd put Swarovski Crystals on almost all of her new electronics. But depending on where you go it might cost a pretty penny.

Now, if THAT doesn't void a warranty, I don't know what does.
|
Wow. That looks like something I would never have done....
|
that's just to much like work....plus i'm a pro at loosing my phone
|
Damn, if you pay somebody to do that, must be some high price. Kind of over the top too.
|
everyone i know, kinda takes some epoxy glue and does it themselves.
Seems like a waste of time to me, But i have a long uni holiday I'm tempted to pimp my ds so you can't see the scratches. XD |
Aha yeah, I did this to my phone :o Although I cheated and bought the gems in a big sheet, which I then just cut out in the shape of my phone and stuck on. Took 2 minutes, teehee...
Yeah, there are shops here that specialise in blinging up people's personal possessions. In the window of one shop they have a BICYCLE covered in gems. (I'm not joking about this, either) The prices in those shops are RIDICULOUS as well... but the blinged-up stuff does look awesome.:rheart: |
I only had one sticker on my phone....spongebob to be exact. And that was only because my daughter put it there. She said. "Mine." as she stuck it on. lol Tho I don't think I could do that to my new cell. I might get tempted to pimp my gamegear tho....it needs a fresh make-over :D |
