Usually Asian people have that more softened, cute look if you were to see models. That's what I think anyway. :P

i think it's because there are so many different styles.
 
Asian fashion, in my opinion, is awesome because there isn't just one specific "way" to dress Asian. I mean there's School Girl, Lolita (which even has different branches of lolitaness such as sweet, punk, and gothic), decora (which is pretty much assembling a lot of accesories that appeal to your personal style. it's not uncommon for keychains and such to clack together when you walk), and all of the styles are easy to get. you don't have to don a kimono or full-on samurai suit to be considered "Asian-looking" either. I think "Asian" fashion is really all about being yourself as you really are and not caring what people tell you is "right." If you want to wear legwarmers, go for it! Think pink hair would look great on you? Do it.
