I accept that, and I have a preset barometer for Tenchu now.

This is a difficult issue because it does heavily rely on context. I pretend to be bigotted a lot for humour value. However this can often be used as a pretense for people who actually want to degrade certain groups of people.

It also assumes that these groups of people can take a joke and won't feel shunned when groups of people use stereotypes of them.

I can't use this as a criticism of Tenchu but I hope people understand this is where I'm at in my thinking.
