Find a place that carries theatrical makeup (not just a novelty store) and get Ben Nye cake eyeliner. Applied with a sable brush and water it will usually stay put unless touched. I tried using contact lens lubricant instead of water recently, but then it tended to smudge a bit.
Max Factor used to make and even better one, but I haven't seen it in years. Only an open mind and open heart can be filled with life. ********************* Find your voice; silence will not protect you.

Well I use eye shadow on top on the eyeliner. Just dab it over the applied eyeliner. It helps it last longer without smudging.
I had the same problem with the smudging after a while but I tried to dab black eye shadow over the black eyeliner and it stayed for about the whole day. I dab the eye shadow on with a small make up brush. I recently bought and uesed liquid eyeliner and it lasts just as long as the eye shadow dabbing method. I need to find a nice solid black gel eyeliner...I need to try it out. |
