Meanings of underpants in anime and japan?
 

I've been wondering for awhile now and I can't find the answer anywhere!! D:

What do the prints on underwear mean in anime? Why do characters have different responses to white and striped pantsu? I'm sorry if this is inappropriate, but I really would like to know.
