Honestly speaking, I did not believe Japanese girls could be competitive in world market until middle of '70s. I did not think western people would not accept "Japanese beauty", so do most of Japanese people.

"YAMAGUCHI, SAYOKO" changed our mind.



After YAMAGUCHI, Japanese girls get self confidence for their "beauty" by the help of cosmetiques like as additional eyelash.

YAMAGUCHI died in Aug/2007. But she had made huge influence to following Japanese girls.
