Who here started drinking tea after watching anime?
 

Ive been watching anime for a long time and i have found my self drinking hot tea like they do on the shows. I was wondering if anyone else is doing that, from watching anime or if im the only one.:D :vsign:

I don't think it was from watching anime, but I love tea!!:rheart: :mtongue:

I am addicted to tea but i dont think its because of anime.

I drink tea because it's healthy and tastes good. Not because I want to be like anime characters.

My Mom MADE me drink tea. She said it was more "dignified" than soft drinks. Though my figure is singing her praises now.

I did, but it wasn't from watching anime. We went out to a Chinese resturant for my mom's birthday and they had hot tea there for settle your stomach down, so since then (mostly when it starts to get cold out) I drink tea. my favorite is called Blackcurrant, and I usually always put a lot of sugar in it, I don't like to drink anything hot (ex-coffee, tea), black.

I was drinking green tea before anime!

iv'e always drank tea but i think i do it more now
like in the morning and sometimes at mid day
anytime is good for a cup of ocha

I've always drank tea even before I've heard what anime was. I still drink tea now, too. :marusmile:

I drink green sakura and black sakura tea. But not that often.

I drink Jazmine tea..but anime did make me want to drink Japanese green tea but my addiction to jazmine tea sorta stopped that hahaha i love the stuff.

One can only imagine;) ...yes however, I do love tea as well, I feel a warm cup of tea helps purify my soul and sharpen my mind for study:cool:

okay. I've always drank tea, LONG BEFORE I started watching anime. But in all curiosity, do you do everything because you've seen it in an anime?

Do you eat pocky **as someone already pointed out** because you've seen it in an anime?

Do you speak Japanese because you've either heard it in anime or through the anime openings?

no i dont do everything, because i saw it in an anime. I had always drunk tea even before i could say the word or even knew what it was. I had just noticed that i had started drinking it more often and trying new flavors. Also to the remark about pocky, i have never tried it and if i was too try it , it would be too see how it tasted thank you very much. Also it is i who pity people like you for not trying new things.:mtongue:

I drank very little tea before I started watching anime, and it was always at a Japanese restaurant :D

I'm anti-coffee/tea drinking. I don't like any hot drinks. I don't feel as if they quench my thirst with their terrible tastes.

I didn't start drinking tea after anime (tea makes me stomach upset), but I do eat a lot more ramen after watching Naruto ~ !

Nope... I never liked tea. I don't like the taste of hot tea. >< Though my mom makes me drink it -_-

on no I try new things thank you very much, I think it was very odd that you would do something more after watching anime.

after anime I started like japanese girls alot :D

I've always loved tea, but since I've started to watch anime, I also like green tea.(Although I find tea ceremonies kinda boring and complicated.)
Ramen has always been a favorite food of mine.

After reading book about Ancient China and reading manga, anime, and british books I have been very fond of drinking tea in an addictive way. I've always like coffee though.

We just like trying new things because when they are presented to us in the way of entertainment we like we seem to want to try it. As long as it's not harmful it's fine.

I also tried pocky because of manga.

My parents brought me up on chinese dubbed anime, it was always a given thing so i never really copied the tv show
....

since my parents bought me pocky and made me start drinking tea from a V. young age. Jasmine tea mostly. I drink green tea, but my body can't really take green tea.

So, no, i didn't really need to copy any anime or manga for that matter.

I've always been drinking tea. Im more for Kocha then ocha though. Oh, how nerdy of me... I mean black tea instead of green ;<.

Well how do you drink the tea then?

Sometimes I use milk in it, but never sugar. Tastes like crap then.

iv'e always drunken tea......like my whole family has ever since i was little.......i didn't know there were people who didn't drink hot tea. i mean i knew that there were people that didn't like tea... but are you saying that you didn't know about hot tea until you started watching anime?

I didn't really start, but I felt a lot more normal because I would have Jasmine Tea with my lunch in a thermas(sp?) and people would look at me weird and all of that. But....I was kinda grown on it cause my grandmother lived in Japan when she was little and it stuck to her.

I'm not the biggest fan of warm drinks (Except hot chocolate. =3 I have a chocolate ADDICTION.), so I didn't even start drinking tea. I tried it a few years ago, but it had no taste, so I couldn't drink it again.
I might think about trying it again, though...

Not to mention, my mom drinks coffee, so I'd be more likely to drink coffee. But that tasted bad, too...

So, to answer the question, no, I haven't.

I drank lots of tea when i was young but know i hardly drink. I drank green tea in a bottle and it tasted aweful.

Im English so I've always drunk tea, its my favourite drink.

Milk and 2 sugars please
