I have not made Japanese curry in a long time - It's sort of difficult to make it for my family, cause my Hunny's system cannot digest curry well, and my youngest son does not like it. So it's really just me and my oldest son, and a big ol' stock pot of curry to eat -every day- before it goes bad.
I'm not sure how to cook it in smaller portions... Anyhow, now that I'm all good & inspired, I believe I shall cook some Curry Katsu tonight (this'll be my first time cooking it with the batter-fried chicken included). |

カレーライス! I spent a great deal of my meals eating Curry when I was in Japan- and I have to say I haven't had it since, and don't plan on having it until I go back... and it's one of my favorite dishes! I don't trust myself to make it right.

Curry is one of the few dishes that I can make. It's not that difficult, though, since I use that powder stuff in a box. I use Vermont Curry... I have no idea if that truly is Japanese or not. I get it from my local Koren market and it says product of Japan. Go figure.
Any type of curry is fine with me, just not the really spicy kind since I'm not a big fan of spicy foods. Never Take 'I love you', lightly.
