Peanut Chicken Yakisoba - 01-23-2008, 07:43 PM

There are a few things that I love about this recipe.

1. It's super quick

2. It's super tasty

3. It's not expensive

4. No measuring is required

That said, you'll need:

one container of chicken flavored Yakisoba ( this works with ramen, too)

canola oil or butter ( I use canola oil )

one bottle asian peanut sauce (I like Bancock brand, personally)

one to two packages of grilled chicken strips

Boil Yakisoba noodles. Set flavoring aside. After noodles are soft, drain. Pour a little oil in a circle( or melt butter ) in the bottom of a frying pan. Add drained noodles and chicken strips. Stir until well heated. Add flavor packet from Yakisoba noodles. Mix until you can no longer see the flavoring. Carefully pour a little peanut sauce into pan and stir. Add sauce until noodles are lightly coated. You can really add as much or as little as you like. Personally, I like mine lightly coated but it really depends on your tastes. Make sure noodles and sauce are well heated and serve.
