I'd try it. It'd have to be severed, cooked, seasoned with some nice sauce with a side of something and probably a cold beer or a glass of chilled wine. But I'd try it.

I had raw horse a couple times. It was alright.

don't they serve horse meat in France? or in the rural parts anyway?
There was some cooking show here in the UK broadcasting about how Horsemeat is a nice delicacy. |
I ate horse sashimi (not penis) when I was eight years old. I remember my uncle was pouring sake for me and my mother yelled at him in Japanese. It was priceless because my uncle was looking at my mom like, "what I am doing wrong?"

I saw on a TV show (a pretty trashy one) the contestants had to eat horse penis (and testicles, eyes and heart) and they were all gagging. Three threw up. Just a nice little fact for you there.
Oh but I'm sure it would be done up nice if you were to take it seriously for a meal. Don't knock it till you tried it I suppose. |
I would have to say pan frying it is way better along with a coat of sauce, its good when you add the tounge in with it too. Horse meat is really rough and kind of strong, I would rather perfer rabbit meat :D instead of horse meat. If your not open minded to new foods and cuisen then I would suggest sticking with what people call normal food  . You can also ask the butcher how you could prepare it too.
