The competition is with yourself and how well you can do.
It's a friendly competition with no rewards beyond the satisfaction of your creations.
Critiques are welcome, as are advice and tips as well; again, be friendly.
I'll start with a couple of hoso-maki (thin roll) that I made earlier today.
A tekka (tuna) and mentaiko (cod roe) w/ shiso maki
The pic is a bit unnatural, but that's because I had to clarify and sharpen it a little since it came out blurry, lol.
