Sushi Competition -

The purpose of this thread is too promote the understanding of making sushi and just too showcase your talent/skills/creativity.
So post pics of your best sushi attempts~ The competition is with yourself and how well you can do. It's a friendly competition with no rewards beyond the satisfaction of your creations. Critiques are welcome, as are advice and tips as well; again, be friendly. I'll start with a couple of hoso-maki (thin roll) that I made earlier today.  A tekka (tuna) and mentaiko (cod roe) w/ shiso maki The pic is a bit unnatural, but that's because I had to clarify and sharpen it a little since it came out blurry, lol.  In the shadows beneath the trees he waits. In the darkness under the moon he plots In the silence of the night he kills.
