While I suppose you could avoid the soy sauce bit by being very careful, it would be pretty close to impossible to pull it off without getting any rice (or rice stickiness, at least) on your fingers.

I personally don`t mind the rice as much as the fish scent. And just wiping it away with the oshibori doesn`t help - it`s only hot when you get it before you start eating.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

It’s kind of a nickname that I have heard and always used. Because the sushi travels around the conveyer belt kind of like a mary-go-round.

I know of a few 100 yen sushi. One in Yokosuka, one in Fukuoka, two in Sasebo, and one in Okinawa.

I dunno, I just like using chopsticks a lot more than using my fingers.
Even when oshibori is provided, I just don't like the feeling of my fingers getting sticky or messy or anything.
I'm a neat freak as well, so..

I don't understand what's so hard about using chopsticks. xD

I guess maybe it's because I've been using them since I was five.

But, to answer the question... I prefer those certain moments when I do get sushi, to use chopsticks. Especially if there's wasabi or ginger dip.

Heaven or Hell, Let's Rock!

Like a passing dream on a night in Spring. The mighty fall at last, to be no more than dust before the wind.
