A common mistake among non-Japanese is to think the grean tea used in desserts is the green tea that is served in Japanese restaurants. The kind used in desserts is the special kind used in tea ceremonies, which comes in the form of powder and tastes completely different from the regular green tea that comes in the form of leaves.

"But on a cookie"? You kidding? The powdwered green tea has been used in desserts for centuries now. It didn't start with Pocky!

I didn't mean that. I mean I don't know if I'll like it or not. I already knew that matcha was used in desserts.
By the way, the way you said all that was kind of rude.

My Looney Tunes-addled psyche immediately hears "There are no La Breya tar pits in Scotland!!" spoken in a Scottish brogue...

like, a biscuit thing covered in chocolate. it's supposed to be awful-tasting and over-priced, so i've never had it. it also looks stupid when people walk around hot topic with a stick of pocky hanging out of their mouths. there's lots of flavors like chocolate mousse, green tea, strawberry and stuff.

We sell pocky at Hastings where I live. And at HEB, if you live in Texas. I like the strawberry ones, but not the chocolate at all!

Introducing the new flavors!

Creamy Caramel, Creamy Vanilla and the winter-only Cocoa. I've only tried the Cocoa so far and it's yummy.

I thought that about here, but they usually do them in Chinese markets and if there is one in my town there must be one somewhere up there! My friend is like a pocky hoarder and he buys them all and sells them to us lmao ~ same price though of course, he's not trying to make money out of us! Haha.
