There are many Korean barbecue restaurants in Japan, and a few all-you-can-eat places, but they are quite a bit more expensive than what you might be used to in California.
My favorite Korean barbecue place is Kyukaku, which are located throughout Japan. Their food is good, and a typical meal for two is about 5000 yen ($60). |

if it's gyukaku -- they've expanded westward...mostly socal and hawaii ..pretty expensive, but have great specials/happy hours. but yakiniku is a different animal from korean bbq...especially the buffet style all you can eat. yakiniku is generally more focused on quality cuts rather than quantity. |

If Tokyo, go to Korean Town in Okubo just beside Shinjuku. Lots of Korean BBQ there.
Another is in Ginza called the Carne Station. Its a yakiniku but its more Korean than Japanese. The Kimchi there is really good. Its just 1000yen for 1 hour, eat all you can In Osaka, I have not found any Korean yakiniku though I found a really nice Korean restaurant already. |
