Hey, someone helped me get Japanese language going on my computer last year. It comes w/ Windows if you have a Windows operating system, you just have to turn the function on. I have Windows XP and I don't remember exactly how to do it, but you don't need the install disk and I'm pretty sure you don't have to download anything extra. It's just a setting and I bet you can google it to figure it out. If you're still confused, write again here.
And sorry if you have a Mac, 'cause I have *no idea* how to do it for them! |

oh yeah..i know to VIEW japanese/korean etc you just go on control panel under languages & enable it..you're gonna have to restart & all that afterwards.
as for you typing it..i'm as lost as you are. But to despair was to wish back for something already lost. Or to prolong what was already unbearable. |

It's quiete simple
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change Keyboards > Add Then you just add Japense... After, you do accept, ok etc etc etc... and at the bottom right, near your clock, there should be a little square that says EN atm, you click there and choose JP when you wanna use Japanese and if you wanna go back to english, just click there again and choose EN |

Ok firs to get you computer set up you will need the original disk to get the language off of. Im assuming you have XP so here is a very useful guide thats pretty streight forward: GMAN: Windows XP Japanese Input
As for typing you just type in romanji and it will be translated into hiragana, katakana, or kanji. Example: どずよろしく |
