Hahaha!
That probably isn't the most affective way to learn, but it could work. ^^ Yeah, I started by just learning a bunch of words like...I don't know, just sitting there memorizing the entire dictionary. after that, I got a phrase book, and started memorizing phrases. And finally I got a book that helped me put stuff together into words. So like "Could I have some green tea please" is literally translated to something difficult, but I know the "could I have some____please" is kudasai. And green tea is "ocha" and "watashi" is I. Then we take a looky loo at the book, and it says the order of words and particles and such and I know to say "Ocha o kudasai". Green tea please. Japanese in 30 days, thats the book I used. まるかいとみつわはいちばんですよ!!
