You should consider watching anime. O_O That's basically how I learn it.. It takes a gazillion years. But it's worth it. ^^

Look in the resources thread--there are a lot of people's links to various sites there, and they should all be labelled as to what they are. Find one for Kanji and you're all set ^_^

you can teach yourself but it is good to understand the fundamentals of kanji first. so if you can find a good site that instructs you on the radicals, stroke order, etc then it is alright. i have learnt more kanji outside of the classroom than i ever did learn in the classroom while studying in Japan.

Learn it from games... you could learn it real fast playing Visual Novel, I am not lying, haha, why am I telling everyone to play those games. You should play a game called "Clannad" , its content is definitely for all age... so
