Could anyone speed translate a manga chapter for me? - 03-10-2008, 06:10 PM

About the Manga
The name of the Manga is Rosario+Vampire, its a story about a teenage boy named Tsukune who accidentally gets sent to a school for monsters. He has to not only keep up his grades, but prevent himself from being eaten by his classmates. Luckily for him a vampire girl named Moka decides to help him survive the semester.

Anyone interested in the series itself can download all the translated scans so far here in one bulk package: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
... Alot of scattered groups/people are working on it but the releases are kinda inconsistant. I collected them altogether in that download.

Ok well im a manga cleaner/editor, but my translator hasnt come online in nearly a week so im somewhat at a loss. I know it may seem like alot to ask, but could someone give me a quick translation for the text on these pages. I mean its not very much maybe a sentence per page (95% of manga pages are taken up by drawings).

Here are the scans... I need the text in the bubbles translated, PM me if you want to do it. It doesn't have to be perfect I just kinda need to know whats going on in each of the bubbles so I can edit it in. Like "page 1 bubble 1 means ~~~" and I could completely do the rest. I would appreciate anyone willing to do this, but if no one does I guess its not a big deal, someone else will probably translate it eventually.

This is a later chapter, so it might not make sense to anyone who hasn't been progressively reading the series,

anyone who did this would of course be credited as the translator in the release,
my aim is Animegamer9901, msn [email protected]

This is a big favor to ask, so I am not sure what kind of reaction you are going to get. Translators here tend to freely help those that need it, but aren't so big on doing gigantic blocks of text, but if there is a Rosario fan here, you might get lucky.

second: what am I doing in this place
third:it's strange. my body hurts but..
forth: whats wrong, this__...
1st speech bubble: eh~ you stood up ?(maybe) unexpectedly tough aren't you.
2nd : it feels like there are bones around me but (someone else needs to translate this part i'm not sure about the grammar here)

p,2

first bubble: you tried to get up
second: by the way , i was only going to kill you but....
third: you are?
fourth: ugh..

I support you 100% man, but don't translate the chapter backwards. How will it possibly make sense?

Well i kinda get the gist of whats going on but im trying to do it properly. I started in reverse because ive been trying to get help wherever I can.

I know katakana but my kanji and vocabulary is very limited... i usually have to write it all out in romanji and look up the words... its pain staking and takes so long

Rosario+Vampire has been picked up for publication by VIZ so you won't need to translate any longer....

ROSARIO + VAMPIRE · Rated "T+" for Older Teens · MSRP: $9.99

· Available May 13, 2008

All-around average teenager Tsukune can't get accepted to any high school save one, but on his first day, he finds the rest of the student body doesn't appear average in the least. Best of all, the cutest girl on campus can't wait to fling her arms around his neck! Wait a sec', are those her teeth around his neck too? Tsukune's going to have one heck of a hickey when he gets home from Monster High! But does he have a chance in hell of raising his grades at a school where the turf war isn't between the jocks and the nerds but between vampires and the werewolves? Find out in the new series from Akihisa Ikeda.

Viz is slow, it will probably take them over 2 years to get where the current japanese release is at.
