what does kizutsukete mean?

i know that kizu- means hurt but what does -tsukete mean? please help. thanks in advance.

Kizu = a bruise, wound, etc.
kizutsukeru [vt.] = to hurt, harm (someone)
kizutsukete [vt] = the [te] form of kizutsukeru. Telling somebody to hurt someone.

Where does that 'telling someone' part come from? Kizutsukete only means hurting someone.

If it is a complete sentence, then that would be in the direct command form.
