At least in America, specifically toasted bread and milk that's in coffee XD . Personally, I eat breakfast cereal almost without exception.

It occured to me I should say something on topic...
I have a book called "Kanji Power" that goes through the first and second grade Kanji that are taught in Japanese schools. It shows all the on and kun readings at the same time, though, so it's still a gaikokujin text

. Even still, it's a great place to start. I really recommend it!
