aishiteru 愛してる or
aishite-iru 愛している (the second is the actual dictionary form, and the first is more colloquial) means "I love you", but one should keep in mind that it doesn't have as broad a spectrum of use as in English. When you say it in English, "I love you" can mean anywhere from boyfriend-girlfriend love to deep, deep love. Saying it in Japanese usually means only the latter.
daisuki 大好き is probably more appropriate for anything less that you still consider love.
