I have been trying to search for good English Japanese, Japanese ENglish dictionary but I couldnt find a good one.. I mean software to install to computer or PDAs..

would you recommend me some if you know??

that is great and all but it is web based and the poster wants software.

if you are a windows user here you go, there are dictionaries you can download for that software available, including downloadable packages of the best online dictionary there is, EDICT:

Just googled "english to japanese download" and this came up FREELANG - free Japanese-English dictionary and free English-Japanese dictionary, don't if this is any good, looks pretty old...

just get the one i suggested, it is the best there is on windows. there were many of my friends using it in class while i was studying in Japan. I was a little jealous because i don't use windows, but then i realised when you have internet access it is exactly the same dictionary im using as they are, EDICT ^^

and thank you so much anrakushi! I will download it now ^^ this will be also hlepful to memorize some kanjiz ^^ okay so do you also know if there is dictionary with normal letters? not in romaji? there is one called Beiks, they say its good but you have to buy it ://

I know you asked for software, but jisho.org is a great online dictionary, it's what I use for school.

i know that website Leekun ^^ it is perfect! I am using that too, but im not online often so..i need a software,anyway i will stick to the books then XD

Lol i just bought Kenkyusha's New Japanese-English Dictionary 4th edition for only 40 Euros while it's it costs $250 on Amazon up to $300 !!:eek:

I got myself a bargain:)
