Designing "Human World" in Kanji
 

I have a new fashion trade mark in spain called "Human World". I have found some translation and I selected the two signs as shown in the attachement file.

Is my translation correct?

Are you looking for a name that looks good to the Japanese? Or do you simply need to satisfy your own countrymen who basically know no kanji?

Indeed I would prefer if it looks good also in Japan. If this is not possible, then I should stick to the second solution (good to ignorant)!

Ok. The word we actually use to mean 'human world' is:

人間界 人間 means 'humans'.

While this is the usual word in modern Japanese, I just don't know if it's good enough for a brand name. It may lack the necessary impact.

The name you created, by the way, makes very little to no sense to the Japanese eye and ear. 類　doesn't mean 'human' or 'humanity'. It simply means 'kind' or 'type'. If you change it to 人類、then it means 'the human kind'.

So 人類界　could be another choice. It doesnt sound as natural as 人間界, but it sure has an impact.

In case you need the readings (i feel the sounds would be important in brand names):

人間界　＝ Ningenkai

人類界　＝ Jinruikai

Now I try to write it in vertical and you could see herewith the 2 options. I have not decided yet which one to chose but the first one seems ok to me.

Please tell me if my vertical signs are OK!

It seems to me you write your kanjis from left to right. Is this the usual way to write in japanese? I thought it was the contrary.

While traditionally its written top-bottom, right-left, you find will find lots of modern Japanese written in the left-right style. Either way is fine.

So there is a possibility to write on a horizontal line. Please could you tell if you find my vertical kanjis OK? It will be included in a logo I will design later.

I think I got all the informations I need.
I looked on the "Hokkaido shinbum" website to see how it is writen. The letters are strait like this font and not Like this one as if it was writen with a pencil and not with a brush. I suppose this is the modern way.
