Can someone please tell me what this means?
sometimes i see on my japanese friends' myspace, they'd often say something, and then,
"tte", by itself, then another sentence, with nothing before the "tte." so what does it mean? is it just like "like" in english? |
Are you saying that this person begins a line with って? If so, I hope you don't imitate that kind of writing. That you won't see many other Japanese do. As for the meaning of it, it should mean "regarding (what was just discussed)".

Oh i see, thank you very much! I figured it was mostly for teenagers and seemed like a non-standard thing... although it seems many teenagers are using that? (and also nde too)
It's mostly used by teenagers and young people, right? |

I see. Thank you very much! I understand it completely now. (and I won't use it, :) don't worry.)
