Marks on 'de'
 

Bit of a simple question - when I type 'de', the marks go sort of in the middle of the character. But I heard off a friend that they're supposed to go above the character when written (like ga, ge, etc.) Can someone clear this up please ^_^ ?

I think the way the marks go depend on the text you're using. There is no right or wrong way where they should go, but when Im writing Japanese using a pen, I put the marks on the top-right of the kana.
