Would like some feedback on my Japanese

Okay well Im 16 and in Year 10. I can read all the hiragana, katakana and can write them both pretty fluently, it's almost as easy as english for me. i recently just achieved being able to recognise 310 kanji, (the school record was 294 set by a Year 12), and i can read and understand simple written sentences. umm what else..... my teacher said on my last report card that i have perfect pronunciation etc. im the best in my class, maybe even the school. i can do what the year 12's do relatively easily.

so yeah im kinda wondering, is this... well, good? like how much do other people know/did they know when they were my age? i really want to know how i compare to others, so please reply.

What kind of replies are you expecting?

Yes, you are off to a great start. Keep that momentum going and you are on the the path to Japanese fluency. I would try a take a chance to go to Japan as soon as you can. Even a week will be an eye-opening experience that will change the way you see the language.

Depending on the amount of vocabulary you know, you're at a basic level.
