[Intermediate Grammar question] "As A increases, so does B"
Any chance I could stretch someone's brain?
I want to use the sentance form "as A increases, so does B" I want to say "Pathogenicity increases with susceptibility", and thought the above pattern would be suitable.. Only I forgot it ;) and its not in my notes. It would be damn useful if I ever want to explain any of the science I work on to people. |
Would it be something like this that you're trying to remember?
Aが増加(増大)するにつれBも増加(増大)する |
That fits the bill perfectly, thanks :)
Its not a phrase I've used in conversation before, and not an awful lot in writing, so it still hasn't stuck in my head yet. I'll make sure to write it somewhere I can review it. Thanks again! |
