GENKI? Not heard of it. I'll take your recomendations though MMM and get hold of the basic kanji book. Just found out that theres a "Japanese for Busy People 2" book.. Might have to get that too. Do you think these books will discuss what I already know in further detail or will they take on new topics?

Oh yeah.. Genki is AWESOME!

It's my university textbook for beginner to intermediate.

listening to ai otsuka or other simple pop lyrics, learning the entire song, then listening to it to get some listening comprehension is an easy and fun way to learn alot. works suprisingly well
