Beginner japanese language game.

I heard about something from a podcast (its a game to build vocabulary, one person says a word in japanese then the other takes the last letter and says a word beginning with that letter.)
I am going to try something different. One person says a word or phrase. (i think we should use japanese spoken in tokyo, just so we dont get mixed up) then the next person translates it and says another word/phrase.

i have checked back threads and cannot find anything like this so i hope the mods dont kill this one.

i'll start, its simple but...: Inu

Also you dont have to be a beginner in japanese to play.

only problem is there are a lot of common sounding words in japanese and without the kanji it will be hard to tell the difference sometimes? :D

continuing with the game:

Dragon

Sumi masen, aego ga Wakarimas ka?

I believe you meant "sumimasen, eigo ga wakarimasu ka?"

In which case it would be, "Sorry, do you understand English?". At least that's what you meant; using the "ga" instead of "wa" (or maybe even "wo") here would probably convey the feeling of "Sorry, does English understand?"

If we're moving on to sentences, how about "Kaze no koe wo kikeru?"

-_- i feel bad starting phrases/sentences now >.< single words are easier :P
