Need help making a choice.
Well, now that I only have one class this semester followed by a summer break, I've decided to put in some much needed effort in my quest to learn some Japanese. I've been toying with the idea of buying an English<-->Japanese Electronic dictionary but I have no idea whatsoever on which one is reliable and will give me the most bang for my money. I figured that some of you here might know and have some experiences with these techs.
So any suggestions on a particular brand that's great for learning will be very useful. Thanks in advance. |

I have a Franklin and I'm really happy with it ^_^
never tried any other brands though so I have nothing to compare it with. Link: Franklin.com |
i'm using the sharp papyrus PW-LT300, and it has helped me a lot.
the thing that i like about it is the ability to input kanji through the stylus. ![]() |
Thank you all for the reply.
I have looked through all of your suggestions and decided to settle with the Franklin as it seems more in my price range. Once again, thanks for the help guys. |
Canon Wordtank G50 for life, baby! It's been my trusty sidekick for many a year. But I love that if I know a part of a kanji, I can search by the pronunciation of that part in the kanji lookup function. I'm not sure if all newfangled 電子辞書 have that feature now or not, but it was a new think when I lived in Japan.
