Yahoo! Babel Fish - Text Translation and Web Page Translation - gives you a so-so translation but uses casual/dictionary/plain form (whatever u want to call it.)

Infoseek has long history of auto translation. Translation is not so bad for Japanese people. I mean it is not foreign people friendly.

However, it is still tough to make complete translation.

Auto translations between English and Japanese still have a loooong way to go. I wouldn't trust the accuracy of any auto translations. So long as we're on the topic though, I like Rikaichan which is a firefox dictionary plugin that allows you to hover over words and get the translation and some other cool things.

Just my 2 cents.

I would not depend on any auto translators for accuracy. Some cannot read negative forms, so everything comes out positive, possibly the opposite of what you are trying to say.

Better than Google? Pay MMM and you will have the job done ;)
