Pimsleur Japanese anyone

Just got these programs for $9.99 each, seems better than rosetta stone, you put your headphones on and it seems like your in surronded by japanese people. My rating- good so far. Anyone else use these programs?

I got through quite a bit of the Pimsleur lessons - they are really good for conversational Japanese, although there were times where I wasn't completely sure of the pronunciation of words and wish I could have seen them written down. They also don't really explain things like grammar structure though, so I'm not sure how effective it is for learning more than the basics without any other learning materials or classes in addition to it. I do really like that they keep bringing up old material as well as introducing new stuff, so you don't forget things so easily.

Oddly not everyone in the world is online at the same time as you. Be patient :D

Pimsleur are OK, but I quite like the free stuff from JapanesePod. I started out with Introduction to Beginner's Japanese by Helen Gilhooly and got on extremely well with disk 1, but strangely never got on at all well with disk 2 from the same set.
