Well the other possibility is 依る and 拠る are just different words. 拠る doesn't play nice with the て form.

It is entirely true that my knowledge of Japanese is at best rudimentary.
However, it seems reasonable to assume that 予定することによって全体の姿が完成することでした。 might translate "It all went according to plan" without doing too much violence to the Japanese language. Of course, I neither know whether the Japanese sentence is valid, nor whether it can be corrected. Nyororinさん: ていねいへんじありがとう。 I entirely agree with your assessment Quote:
