Language translation

Dear JF users, please help me to translate the few text lines from Japanese to English. I am learning Japanese language and trying to figure out lines but cannot understand how Kanji can be used with Kana? Could you please help me to translate the following lines in English and please also tell me what is the best way to learn Japanese language.

何言ってんの~〓
全然気にしてないしこれぐらいのこと当たり前だよ〓長 い付き合いなんだからこれぐらいお世話させてね〓
ていうかむしろエミリが無事家に帰られるかの方が心配 〓身体と相談しながら無理しないで帰ってね〓
本当に今日はお疲れ様〓〓
私の家のパソコンアドレスは↓だよ~〓気が向いたら写 真送ってね〓

I will be so much thankful for your help on this.

Cheers
Marqus from Spain

You are going to have a very difficult time learning Japanese if you start with very relaxed, slangy sentences like these.

何言ってんの~〓 What the heck are you saying?

It appears these are from a chat?
---------

全然気にしてないしこれぐらいのこと当たり前だよ〓

It doesn't bother me at all - This much is expected.

長 い付き合いなんだからこれぐらいお世話させてね〓

We've known each other/been together this long, so let me help you.

ていうかむしろエミリが無事家に帰られるかの方が心配 〓

I am more worried about Emily getting home safe.

身体と相談しながら無理しないで帰ってね〓

As we discuss your health, don't overdo it getting home.

本当に今日はお疲れ様〓〓

Thank you for your hard work today.

私の家のパソコンアドレスは↓だよ~〓

My home computer address is below.

気が向いたら写 真送ってね〓

If you get a chance send me pictures.

I can't but agree with MMM. I have been studying Japanese for 2 years and most of those colloquial forms are still very taboo for me :O

Start learning Japanese from the good firm structures you find in textbooks. once you feel confortable with regular grammar you can start moving on to more "advanced" stuff.

Colloquial stuff "advanced".... what's advanced in any of those sentences?

The use of the て form twice in one sentence?
The fact they drop ください when making a request?

pfft... those are just the basics, dude.

I've never used a textbook, only in my "class" lol

Cheers MMM,

are you a native speaker or you have learned it. I am using online sources to learn Jap language. So i can communicate with Japanese people kindly.

Would like to work in Japan in the near future...any quick way to achieve this??

Thanks

Marqus

I have been a student of Japanese for about 20 years.

Please don't use the the term "Jap".

There is no quick way to achieve anything, but with hard work and dedication I am sure you will succeed.

I would recommend investing in a beginner's text book, (Genki, Youkoso, etc.) as you will get a more organized structure to your studying. With a strong foundation you can build a better language structure. Chats and free Internet sites will likely not give you a strong foundation, so I do not recommend that.

Should probly be:
「何言ってんの」という文章は教科書には絶対に見られ ない
or
教科書には「何言ってんの」という文章が絶対に見られ ない

:)
