Some small kana help -

Does anyone know what the first kana in the picture means? I know both the hiragana and katakana, but I cant recognize that kana.... I know the second, which by my understanding is "Gi". But I don't get the first one... Can anyone help me out? Link of the kana: Yfrog - 4a3b.jpg
