Kodou kanji

If anyone could help me or point me in some direction, I would be very grateful I am in need of the kanji for 'Kodou' (beat/heartbeat) which i am contemplating getting tattooed on my shoulder blade when i turn 18 in May. The song 'Kodou' by Dir en grey means alot to me which is why i want to get the kanji. I tried looking over the net but can't seem to find much help
