A little katakana help :)

Hiya,

For a test my Japanese lessons, I need to talk about my home town, so I'am wanting to write the names from my area in katakana.

Would anyone know how to write
Christchurch
Bournemouth and
Dorset
in katakana?

I've attempted my self, but not sure if what ive done fits right, and would like some confirmation.

Thanks!!

How about you go to the Wikipedia article for any of those pages. Then look on the left hand side. There is a link to the articles for that topic in other languages. Find the one for Japanese (日本語). Click on it.

BAM! There's your answer.

For example:
Here is the English page for Christchurch: Christchurch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Now on the left hand size you have a link to クライストチャーチ - Wikipedia
There's your answer: クライストチャーチ

Try it for Dorset and Bournemouth.

Please remember it. It needs to be a permanent sticky: "How to find out your name in katakana"
