so...i was interested. would ﾝﾀﾞﾀﾞｶｲ ｵｳｶﾐ be the correct way to say/write "the famous wolf" ? as if talking about specific wolf not in general terms or as an adjective - o..yea...that wolf is famous. but THE famous wolf.

Not even close. You've written "ndadakai oukami," the first of which is not a word, and the second of which is misspelled and is correctly spelled オオカミ.

Also, you've used half-width katakana for some reason, and katakana for the entire phrase for who knows what reason.

有名なオオカミ is "famous wolf." To distinguish it with the proper noun Famous Wolf? I have no idea. I'm not even sure if Japanese can make such a distinction. Spanish doesn't except with caitalization.

And say it with me: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SPACES BETWEEN JAPANESE WORDS. STOP USING THE SPACEBAR.

I think this is the single most frequent mistake people make on JF no matter how many times we say not to.

well i still use spaces because only recently i started learning japanese and since i dont know many words its hard for me to tell were one ends and the other one starts..

It would be wrong with katakana. But in kana (a mix of hiragana and katakana), it would be ゆうめいなオオカミ.

Still, don't use spaces. Why do you need to know where one word ends and another begins in something you write? You already know where the words are.

Out of curiosity, where did you get ンダダカイ from?

My guess is 名高（なだか）い狼（おおかみ）？

ンダダカイ狼 sounds more African. :)

Mayonnaise, you are a genious. 名高（なだか）い狼（おおかみ）makes complete sense, though 名高い is a bit unusual adjective to be used for a wolf. But I can see it happens in an Anime or some novel.

well nadakai as in famous simply in katakana. nadakai (famous) ookami (wolf)..

and still..i know that it would be more precise to write in hirigana as japanese would for a simple famous wolf. but i need it in katakana as if foreign name. and i still can't read kanji. so...my basic variant was correct? ﾝﾀﾞﾀﾞｶｲ ｵｵｶﾐ?

I don't know where you are getting ンダ(nda) but the character you are looking for is ナ(na)... so it should look like this in katakana ナダカイ

Assuming this is a God, it's in Japanese; it's not a foreign name. If it's not a God, it isn't a name—it's just a phrase.
