Sure is a lot of recycling going on at the moment... And.. did we move away from nouns? Several people have mentioned adjectives and interjections already.

Anyway, can't really blame people for not bothering to read through 7 pages. :p

水酸化ナトリウム

すいさんかナトリウム

Sodium Hydroxide, NaOH. Also known as lye, and is the stuff they use for making soap. It's also used for curing a lot of foods, especially Chinese processed foods, such as Century eggs.

I'm actually a chemist, 'though I must say that I was also partially inspired by a certain skit in Seitokai no Ichizon.

燐酸三カルシウム
りんさんさんカルシウム

Ca_3(PO4)_2, tricalcium phosphate.

Found naturally in milk (it's the principal source of calcium.), and is used rather often in powdered spices to prevent them from sticking together. (as an anti-caking agent.) It's also found in ashed bones (bones reduced to ash), as is used for bone china.
