ウォルター

ウォルター

this is a name WALTER

now i wonder after this name ウォルター can i add something in Japanese so it can be a different name or meaning or word?
so this could change? and no longer say walter?

any advice would be 10000 helpful...thanks

Anything you add would change the word period. What you have written there can only mean 'Walter'. Adding anything would be the equivalent of doing this in english: "Walter" -> 'Walterk' or 'Waltery' etc. If you want to say walter, keep it exactly the same.

If you start with ウォルター and replace ル with ー, you get ウォーター, which is a katakana version of "water."

Every word or character you would add to it would change it totally.

Nothing you add to it will make it a better meaning or word in Japanese because "Walter" is not a native Japanese word.

That's like asking "What can I add to Shinichi to make it a better word in English?"

Well, you could drop the "ichi" and end up with "shin" ;)
