What is the correct translation of this?

"a woman's face with no make-up on it"

Thats the common translation I find, but what does it mean in this context:

"Unarmed"

Who could have imagined that kinda unusual "context"? You would have saved everyone's time by showing that in the first place.

So again, what is the accepted translation? Jobless? Unarmed? Freelancer? In english those have very different meanings.
