Company name 孔葉堂 kouyou-dou
Brand name 香葉茶 kouyou-cha
type 梅昆布茶 ume-kobu-cha

It is tea that the Prunus mume and the perilla entered powdered green tea(matcha).

It forgot to write an important thing.

Do not use the teapot because it is powdered green tea(matcha).
Originally, this only puts hot water in though powdered green tea is beaten with the tea whisk.
Put in the cup and pour hot water.
The temperature of hot water is a right 90 from 60 degrees.
The temperature of hot water is a right 60~90 degrees.

When the temperature is high, a lot of catechin is extracted.
(In a word, it becomes bitter.)

To OP:

This is not regular tea. Drink it in moderation if you must watch your sodium intake.

Yes, thank you for the additional instructions. I did taste a few and they were quite "salty".... Perhaps I didn't prepare it right the first time because to me it tasted something akin to chicken broth....

This is not something for me, as I'm not to have much sodium in my diet....
